Post-release update (12/02/23)

Hello! It's been about four days since I uploaded this game here, and I've been absolutely floored by the positive response its found here. This is the first game I've ever made in fungus, as well as the first game I've uploaded to itch, so I was super nervous about what would happen, but it's been so nice to see such lovely comments and reviews , and even a few playthroughs appear in the comments thread! i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has played, and to all those who have left comments about how they found it.

I've made a couple of fixes to the game according to feedback I've seen, which have been released in the new build. The changes released are as follows: 

• End screen at each ending
• Sound effect volumes lowered slightly
• Retry button added at each ending
• Inverted background fixed so it actually covers the whole screen

While I have no plans to continue this project for the time being, I have greatly enjoyed making it, and I do have ideas for potential extensions of it. However, these are not things I plan to make for a while, since for now I just want to expeiment with different ideas and programs to see what I enjoy best. I'm still very new to making games of any sort, and I would hate to release something I'm not proud of.
